Dunon wint GP op CSIO3* Samorin

Gilles Dunon was de snelste van drie dubbel foutloze combinaties in de Grote Prijs van Samorin. Met Fou de Toi vd Keihoeve (Toulon) klopte hij een Duitser en een Italiaan. Op zes met een snelle tweede ronde, maar vier punten uit ronde één, stond Wilm Vermeir met Gentiane de la Pomme (Shindler de Muze). Wilm was ook vooraan terug te vinden in de voorafgaande CSI2* GP. Hij stond op vier met de zevenjarige DM Jacqmotte (Toulon), die zilver won op het BK in Lummen. Gaetan Decroix en Emma VP (Darco) werden vijfde. In de zevenjarigenfinale werd Vermeir tweede met Justify vh Eindeken (Toulon) en Gilles Dunon (Jango) stond op vier. Vanochtend in de Consolation werd Gilles Dunon ook nog vierde met Valentino (Kashmir). Ann Carton-Grootjans en Irvine Ter Doorn (Toulon) haalden ook nog een topvijfklassering binnen in de grote tour van het CSI2*-concours.

Het hippisch centrum van Samorin stelde zich deze week kandidaat om in 2018 de Wereldruiterspelen over te nemen van het afhakende Bromont.
